Zai Shun Curry Fish Head

First time there after hearing all the hype. And the hype is well deserved. Dishes were flavourful and had the taste of home cooked meals. The star of the table was the curry fish head. Perfectly cooked in a spicy and flavourful curry broth. The curry was just enough not to mask the freshness of the fish head. Zero fishy smell and meat was smooth and bouncy. Will be back again to try the steam fish dishes. That will be the true test of freshness.

So so good! Superb steamed fish at price u can’t find elsewhere. Quality better than most renowned teochew restaurants at half the price. Other hokkien dishes like fish maw sea cucumber n pork tendon is must try. Salted meat patty is solid.

The soup is indescribable! It’s authentic, so clear yet so rich in flavor. Crayfish super fresh the flesh is sweet by itself and needless to say the fish were fantastic. Definitely deserve a bib gourmand.
