BEBEK GORENG PAK NDUT REVIEWS
The crispy duck served here is delightfully crispy and flavorsome, a true testament to the chef’s skill. The rice, paired with the chili, enhances the dish and complements each other perfectly. As a side, the chili kangkong vegetable is a superb choice, bringing a refreshing balance to the meal. The oxtail soup is hearty and boasts generous portions of oxtail, making it a satisfying dish in its own right. Above all, this establishment offers great value for money without compromising on taste—a rare find indeed!
Great authentic Indonesian restaurant in Jurong area. The duck and vegetable dishes taste exactly like back at its home country. The former is very well done - well-marinated and soft in the inside, properly-crisped skin at the outside. It's kinda hard to find duck dishes that hit these criteria. Fantastic sambals as well, you can choose between 4-5 types of them, from standard red chili and terasi (shrimp paste) to green chili and thick kecap (sweet soy sauce) sambals. I believe one can also ask them to adjust the hotness level too. I wish the sides, namely tempeh, tofu, and raw/blanched lalapan veggies, could've done bigger though.
Ducks or Bebek in Indonesian or Itek in Malay....so far not many can serve as delightful as this. 2-3 other restaurants would make it tender, just like Pak Ndut's. Be prepared to run after your nose after dipping into their sambal belado! This is my 2nd duck in a week.

D'PENYETZ JEM REVIEWS
Very good ayam penyet. We had the smash chicken thigh and the smash chicken cutlet, the smash chicken is the better option. Chicken thigh is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. chicken cutlet is abit dry and not as crispy. Comes with a fried tofu as well. Option to choose the spiciness of the chilli from level 1 to 8. We had the spiciness level 5 and 8. They give extra crucnchy bits which is very thoughtful of the owner. Tauhu telur is nice but didn't really like the sauce given, tasted like satay gravy with a hint of lemongrass. Prefer the darker type of sauce like rojak kind. kakak serving is very friendly.
Personally I have never eaten there, it's always takeaway. An easy takeaway just need to lightly heat up in microwave it's ready to eat. Almost tried all their menu, think the only one I don't fancy would be their Catfish. A must try in my book, Madura Spice Duck & Grilled Oxtail Set.
Got the indomie with chicken and mozzarella cheese (blowtorched to melt over the chicken). Very sinful but cheese is great with fried food. They have around 8 (if I remember correctly) spice levels of chilli to pair with the main dishes (thankfully placed on the side; not mixed!) I got level 3 which gives a kick but not insane enough to make me gulp tons of water. Shared eggplant, fried tofu and satay with friends but over-ordered — would be good for 4 or 5 people. I might come back just to be adventurous to try the other spice levels for fun!

RUMAH SAYANG REVIEWS
Didn’t intend to eat here for dinner but everywhere else in Jem was crowded. Despite that I’m glad I did as I got to try the ayam merah which was so good. Fair pricing for mall food: $6.50 for 1 meat and 1 veg with huge rice portion, though actually to prevent food wastage the rice can be cut down as I saw other customers also didn’t finish their rice.
Best Nasi Lemak, have lunch twice a month - Nasi Padang is excellent too. They branches in IMM WOODLAND and PAYA LEBAR.
We had the mee rebus, nasi lemak, teh tarik and teh alia for breakfast. Mee rebus is very tasty, got the traditional taste. Nasi lemak was very good too! The chilli and the chicken wing very crispy. The teh tarik was normal. Hubby say Teh Alia very spicy but shiok. For those who like spicy ginger tea will like.
