Well, you can do 2 things here, be a tourist and enjoy the food, or be a local and enjoy the food. I'm doing the local / expat thing, and if you look through the higher pricing and the fact that it's a touristy palce, you will enjoy the vibe and the good food. Some of the staff could be a bit more friendly and less pushy, but we like coming here. Again we like the food and it's just a matter of attitude. We are regulars and keep coming back.
I ordered the Kam Heong clams, watermelon slush, and wonton in chili oil. I'm a clam enthusiast and this has been the best clam dish I've ever had. The spices were perfection. I would not recommend the spicy wonton though but it makes sense that seafood is their forte. I love the ambiance of sitting outside and enjoying people watching. The waitress was super nice and told me to come back to try some chili crab!
If you love sea food then this is the best place to eat and enjoy drinks. So wonderful crowd, food tastes awesome and very good service.
