Nanyang Dao is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Nanyang cuisine. The menu boasts several genuine dishes that truly capture the essence of the region. The Penang Fried Kway Teow is a standout - juicy prawns and excellent 'wok hei' demonstrate the chef's skill. The Ayam Goreng Berempah Nasi Lemak is equally delightful, offering a perfect balance of flavours. Don't miss the Selayang Big Bowl Curry - it's a hearty and satisfying dish that showcases the rich, complex spices of Nanyang cooking. To complement your meal, try their Ice Coffee, which provides a refreshing contrast to the spicy dishes. They also got the bear bear ice coffee/milo which the kids love! For those with a sweet tooth, the Egg Tart is a must-try. Its flaky pastry and silky custard filling are executed to perfection. The Butter Polo Bun is another treat, with its crispy top and soft, buttery interior making it an ideal accompaniment to the coffee. Nanyang Dao offers a genuine taste of the region, from savoury mains to sweet treats, making it an excellent choice for those seeking authentic flavours in Singapore.
Great local food at Nanyang Dao Cafe! Excited to see Nanyang Dao Cafe open their 10th outlet at The Star Vista! The local dishes like Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Har Cheong Gai, and Fried Carrot Cake are all delicious. My favorites are the crispy thick egg tarts and pineapple buns – so tasty!
Their Char Kway Teow is really good, packed with that signature wok hei aroma that makes it so flavorful. I also love their Portuguese Egg Tart—it's incredibly creamy and delicious, with a perfectly baked crust. Definitely worth trying!
