A tiny old-school coffee shop under a HDB block. It can be a little cramped when busy, but you can have an alfresco dining experience at the stone chess table nearby. The drink stall is manned by two nice ladies and a friendly uncle. It offers the best breakfast set, which is cheap and good. The toast, steamed bread, eggs, teh and kopi were all perfectly done. This kopitiam has only one food stall (Jawa Corner) selling lontong, mee rebus, mee siam, mee soto, nasi lemak, curry puffs etc.
One of the few remaining older HDB blocks in this area. Having coffee and toast here felt like time had stood still for a while. Coffee was good, and toast was presented in a heart shape.
Delicious, cheap and authentic food. Efficient and friendly staff. Atmosphere is old-fashioned chill at coffee shop vibe. No air-con, no music, no tv/screen. Perfect for unwinding from busy city lifestyle.
