Cumi Bali is hands-down the BEST dining experience in all of Singapore! Every single dish was a masterpiece of flavor and authenticity. The okra with sambal? Absolutely to die for—perfectly tender with just the right spice. The oxtail soup was rich, hearty, and incredibly comforting. The squid? Tender, smoky, and unforgettable. And don’t even get me started on the lentil chips served with their spicy sambal—pure heaven! The chicken skewers were another standout—holy amazing! Juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. Every bite transported us straight to Indonesia. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming—truly a worry-free, cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The manager personally greeted us and ensured everything was perfect, which added such a thoughtful touch to the evening. If you’re in Singapore and looking for a meal that is both comforting and extraordinary, Cumi Bali is the place to be. This was the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the city, and we cannot wait to return. Highly, highly recommend.
Cumi Bali offers amazing Indonesian cuisine, with their dishes marinated in a blend of 16 different spices. Our family sampled the Ayam Goreng, Sop Buntut, BBQ Cumi, ,Beef Rendang , Sayur Lodeh , Ayam Sate . Each dish had a fantastic flavor on its own, but if you enjoy spicy food, don’t miss the belachan chilli - it’s incredibly fresh and packs a punch. One of our favorites was the oxtail soup (Sop Buntut), which was rich in flavor without being oily. The lady owner is a friendly and chatty person, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
I had a dinner here tonight and thought that the food was so delicious. The star of the night was the Ikan Bakar. It is a fish cooked with 18 spices hidden in a delicious later of otak-otak. I will be back again just to have this dish again! The lady boss was also extremely friendly and chatted us up the food story of some of the dishes, really appreciated her interaction.
