Don’t judge a book by its cover. I have passed by the restaurant for the last 5 years and didn’t ever try it out. Finally did this week and must say it’s the best Indian food I have had in Singapore.
Came here with a party of 4 for dinner on a Friday evening. Got a table immediately. Ordered the mutton Briyani, paneer palek, curry chicken, garlic naan - all of them delicious!
Tasty indian food! The butter chicken was really tasty and it was just the right amount of spiciness for me! My fiancé had the chicken biriyani. Initially, the dish was too spicy for him, but the staff offered to replace the dish for free and make it less spicy. It was a five star dish even before this but they diserve bonus points for the attention they pay to each customer!

My early dinner yesterdayI was a enjoyable with the nasi pattaya , comes with big chunks of chicken , the fried rice underneath the omelette is fragrant and piping hot at $8 is acceptable ,portion is big , down with a tea tarik ( pulled milk tea ) is fantastic ..Will go back again next week .
Really friendly stuff. Food 24/7 and it tastet really great. Would definitely recommend going there. But don’t try the mango lassi!

SONA’S GRILL REVIEWS
Excellent curries especially the famous butter chicken, served alongside fresh naans. The mango lassi made in house is also delicious. They have nailed all their dishes and execute to a high standard. Portions are good, prices extremely decent. The team does a great job of keeping the restaurant very neat and clean and delivers excellent service. Been back 3+ times within the year.
We had a lovely time with our son Bruce (14 months old) staff was very welcoming and caring and were cheerful with our son and made him laugh a lot. Food was delicious! Highly recommend Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming with babies and made our son laugh a lot.
There is a reason for their high rating. Extremely delicious, serving size is generous, value for money. Service staff is very attentive and no question ask when I request for extra papadum. I will definite return, highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.
