A visit to Hong Lim Market & Food Centre will not be complete without savouring Bak Kut Teh. The spare ribs is so juicy and tender and I am quite surprised by the size of it. The sides are fantastic. I find the preserved vegetable and braised beancurd here the best I have had so far. Though not very herbalicious, the soup flavour is very balanced and satisfying.
Chances upon Morning BKT while at the market. Looks like a normal shop but the name was unique, hence giving it a shot. To my surprise, the pig trotter was tender and delicious. Service was great and it came with a bowl of heartwarming herbal soup. Pricing is reasonable for the portion size.
Anytime Hokkien Bak Kut Teh and always good. Our regular BKT and Aunty always very generous with our portions.
