Hwa Ji Bak Kut Teh

This shop is seated in the heart of CBD, very near to Frasers Tower. Had my first try today where i went at ~12pm, needless to say there was a large crowd. While waiting, I had a casual chat with 2 customers in front of me who said they frequented this shop hence I asked if they had any recommendations. They enthusiastically recommended me to try out their signature bah kut teh & lettuce. I was definitely not disappointed. The bah kut teh here is one of the better ones I had in Singapore. The soup is very well seasoned and the meat is extremely tender, which comes off the bone very easily. Highly recommended and will definitely come here again!

I went to this store to try it out for dinner with my colleagues today, and it was unexpectedly good. The soup is delicious and the ribs are delicious. The service is very good and the food is served very quickly. There is no service charge. It is suitable for lunch here when working nearby. Will come back again.

I haven't been there for a while, but I went there again today and the taste is still familiar. The service is better now and soup is refilled faster than before.
