We seldom eat out at restaurants,so once in a blue moon, here we are. The chilli crab we had, has a heavy shell and large pincers, not so much meat but passable w/ mantou. The bull frog with spring onion n ginger was good, poached prawns with Chinese wine were fresh. Overall we enjoyable our blue moon dinner date, but very very touristy place filled with mostly Chinese tourists on a Saturday night. - David T

Absolutely a must-visit for seafood and crab lovers in Singapore! Our family first discovered Mellben years ago, and it's incredible to see how it has grown, with locations now scattered all over the city. You will not go wrong with their crab offerings! Whether it's the iconic chili crab, savory black pepper crab, or the decadent salted egg yolk crab (our selection this evening), there's something to satisfy every craving. - Gideon O

The chilli crab was absolutely excellent - flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fried buns were a great accompaniment, soaking up the delicious sauce nicely. The bamboo clams were also tender and tasty, while the morning glory with cuttlefish added a nice contrast in texture. - Stephen C
