Reviews

We ordered the Jigo set and it was amazing! Everything was freshly prepared, with the rice served warm and the toppings tasting fresh and flavourful. Special thanks to Rebecca for her wonderful service and warm hospitality My friends and I had a very pleasant dining experience on our first visit to Rappu. To end off the meal, we were served miso soup and tamago, which was a lovely touch.

Chanced upon RAPPU, ordered miso soup, duck meatballs, sashimi, akami and toro dip w chips, 6 JIGO hand rolls and 6 TENGO “no rice” rolls. Very impressed with the freshness of the ingredients as well as the service of the staff. I think the idea and concept of having “no rice” is a great option, since we could try all the TENGO AND JIGO rolls without ingesting too much rice which might make us too full. Kudos to the attentiveness of the staff. From orientating us to the menu, recommending some of the popular choices, and serving us the next hand rolls once we were done with the previous. There was one staff who was really friendly towards us, and even the customers beside us. It makes the dining experience much more enjoyable with the little small conversations such as reminding us not to indulge too much in taking of photos and to enjoy the rolls within 10s once served.

Me and my friend sat at the bar seats for the full experience since it was our first time there We went for the classic ‘Tengo’ (6 handrolls each) as we wanted something not too heavy. If you want something more flavourful then ‘Jigo’ would be a good choice or you can do ala carte as wel We also ordered 6 shots of drinks each for pairing (kombucha for my friend; sake for me). We really like the concept and everything tasted fresh! Shoutout to Nash and Sylvester for serving us for the evening and making the experience light hearted
