Sakunthala's Restaurant Kallang

We happened to be at Race Course Rd and chanced upon this sleek and clean looking restaurant with the MUIS halal logo. We decided to break fast there as the staff mentioned there is a prayer place. Alhamdulillah. We were greeted well by the manager, Mr Ravi and he brought us to a cosy table. A really friendly staff, Sindhu, guided us on what is popular. We got a few dishes including pulao kashmiri, mutton bryani , pepper mutton and fried bhindi They were so good, esp the pepper mutton. The potion is just nice too. We were given complimentary sweets and dates too. Definitely will recommended this place to family and friends. With regards to the prayer place, it is thoughtful of the owner to provide one but would be good to make it more presentable and tidy. Cleanliness is part of our faith. Esp so while doing our prayers. Mr Ravi had a very good conversation with us. Very friendly and humble. A very capable manager indeed.

Sakunthala’s Food Palace serves delicious and authentic Indian food. The biryani is especially flavorful and satisfying. Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for a hearty and authentic Indian dining experience. Mr Ravi, the branch Manager is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Maran was amazing! He explained the menu to us and provided excellent recommendations! The food was outstanding, the a/c strong and the service was quick and friendly!
