My favourite seafood lala white bee hoon with jelly lime drink. Bee hoon cost $8.80 and I counted 12 lala, 3 prawns, sotong and much pork lard. Super value and super yummy.

Long establishment in the area. Early 2000s, 2 shops, left & right sides of Bakkwa shophouse. Used to open till 4am. Steamed fishes were popular. Pork trotter vinegar not on menu everyday. Then went on took over a halal coffeeshop & corner unit Cabana coffeeshop. Now closed at 1am. Menu expanded. Waitstaff attitude problems. Takeaway eat at home better.

Stunning. This is one of my favourite spots in Singapore. No frills, nothing fancy, just down-to-earth local food that absolutely rocks. The chicken soup was fantastic, as well as the seafood, the fried veggies, even the coconut was delicious.
