The ginger cold chicken is delicious, it's soft and tender, there are a little bone which is alright. The chilli goes well with the chicken and gives it a kick. Porridge is boiling hot, it more towards the thick side of the texture. Century eggs and pork goes well with the porridge, you can add a chicken egg to boost the flavour. The you tiao adds some saltiness to the dish. Price is decent
Have eaten here so many times but never reviewed it until today. The reason why many keep coming back is due to the variety of porridge it always had, fully customisable to one’s liking. Many new side dishes have crept into the menu over the years but favourites are still dough fritters, raw fish and century egg.
Have been coming here to have my delicious porridge since 18 years ago. Taste good as ever. Highly recommended.

Always a great choice for tzechar if you run out of idea where to bring friends to try good tzechar dishes. Quality n portions have been consistent over the years, my fav dishes are champagne pork ribs, homemade tofu, prawns with vermicelli in claypot.
I grew up in Tiong Bahru estate during the 80s. Although the restaurant was opened in 1996, their flavours bring back memories of old school greatness. The food here is simple, tasty and fresh. The service is honest, direct and fast. Prices are reasonable too.
Delicious home cooked Chinese food. The homemade tofu is very recommended . Service was good & waiter was friendly and attentive to us, though it was during busy lunch hour.

We like how they served all our food together and not like one by one and have to wait. I was impressed by the sotong as it was crispy and taste good! The chilli crab was not bad too, sweet with a little spicy in it! The meat was fresh and chunky! The crispy chicken was good too. We ordered 3 dessert but i only try the Almond Beancurd! The beancurd definitely have a strong taste of almond and it was very soft. The place was quite spacious, they have indoor and outdoor. Recommend you guys to book and reserve the place first as its Wednesday but also full house. Yea, they have parking lots around.
Crab Bee Hoon was so precious. It seemed too big for 2 people even with small size crab, but I couldn't stop eating the tasty Bee Hoon soaked up all the crab goodness, until it was gone. Coffee Rib was also good. Definitely come back with bigger group!
Crab bee hoon is to die for - must get when you’re in Singapore. All side dishes were very nice too - crispy sotong, fried mushrooms, coffee ribs, braised tofu. Ngoh hiang was another highlight - very meaty compared to other places.
