Love the authentic taste of bak kut teh. There is a different grade of ribs, and they refill my soup. Dishes were delicious, and the dessert was yummy.

YA HUA BAK KUT TEH REVIEWS
On a day when it rained so heavily, I headed to Havelok Road for my belly warming Bak Kut Teh soup. Ordered prime ribs soup, kidney and salted vegetables. Been eating here since the 90s. Especially love their boiled Tang O veg. The meat is always cooked just right but getting pricier over the years. And now the service staff are all Vietnamese who speaks good Chinese.
Lovely service staff. Friendly and inviting crew. Despite dining alone, I was still given a relatively large table, and they ensured I had enough chili and even gave me a free bowl of BKT soup. I ordered the braised vinegar pork trotters. Love the fact that there was an option for lean meat. The braised sauce was savoury and delicious. The meat was succulent and tender. The fatty collagen bits will just disintegrate in your mouth. So yummy.
Revisiting Ya Hua Bak Kut Teh for brunch with my family. I was hungry and happy to be back; may have gone overboard with my orders, including pork ribs, kidney, braised knuckle, tofu, preserved vegetables, watercress and more. To my delight, the dishes were as fantastic as ever, and the slightly higher prices were worth it for the quality and taste. Thanks to its location just a 5-minute walk from the new Havelock Station - Exit 3. It is now even more accessible and convenient for us to indulge in the culinary delights it has to offer.
