Fish Mart Sakuraya

Awesome sashimi at reasonable price! I love the various sashimi don. Fresh and flavourful sashimi with a good portion of rice to go with it. We came on a Monday early evening. The crowd slowly streamed in after us. I liked that there are plenty of tables and space. They also sell assorted Japanese F&B products like ice cream and other snacks by the side of the restaurant. Hot green tea is refillable. Wonderful dinner experience.

This place offers a wide selection of sashimi—you just pick what you like, and the chef will prepare it fresh for you. On top of that, they also serve dishes like hamachi kama, grilled kimedai, and many more. And also, the karaage chicken was surprisingly good too.

First time trying this fish mart even though I've seen them all over singapore. It's one of the rare restaurant types that has live Tuna fish cutting and even fresh seafood on display for you to choose. The food is overall not too bad. Maybe the sushi may not be my usual taste but it is still good quality overall.
