Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh

I usually prefer the pepper version of bkt but this is one herbal bkt that I will definitely go back for. Their Special bkt has lots of ingredients, meat was really well cooked and tender. Much better than some of well known bkt brands serving pepper bkt, I was plesantly surprised! Restaurant was full during lunch hours, but staff remained friendly and helpful when asking for suggestions on the portion and food to order. They also have a wide variety of other dishes such as fish, veggies, prawn, chicken etc. Quite easy to get to as well, and has parking spots if you plan to drive.

Authentic pot of Bak Kut Teh with a peppery flavour. They also serve up other dishes. Would recommend to try anything cooked in a claypot. Go during off peak hours if you do not wish to wait, otherwise expect a 15 minutes wait during peak hours.

Nice old school place to get some good old Bak Koot Teh. Especially on a cold rainy day.This claypot version are much more herbal then the usual pepper version and the meat was soft and tender. Melts in your mouth and it came off the bone easy. Try their side dishes but expect to wait as they seem short on staff. But it’s worth the wait. Visually nothing wrong but could use a few upgrades.
