MEGUMI JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
WOW to the price and value and quality of food here! My first time trying their lunch set, not only is there 20% off on weekday lunches, but comes with all the sides AND TEA free! Can even choose between sashimi or truffle chawanmushi! All of this including tax and service charge was $15.20! Very delicious and fresh, I’ve already roped my colleagues and family to come back asap!
Came here on a rainy Friday afternoon for lunch. The lunch sets are amazing value for value. Sashimi is thick and fresh, and portions are very generous. See photos attached Friendly crew and very good service Will definitely come again to try other items on the menu Parking: There's limited parking on site, several parallel lots opposite but always crowded because of the location. I parked a few streets away and walked here.
Food is incredible high quality for the price (Real Value for $$$). Sashimi is fresh and you have multiple combinations of ingredients. I saw some people ordering Hot Pot, but didn’t manage to try. The restaurant doesn’t look fancy like other Japanese restaurants in the area. But the food speaks by itself. I’ll be back! 100% recommended if you around the area.

WAHIRO REVIEWS
After 20 years, this Japanese restaurant is truly still a hidden gem. Restaurant is ran by a Japanese chef and although we seldom see him around these days, the standard and quality of food remains top notch and prices are well valued. For those who like trying new stuff, restaurant also serves a monthly special course which is refreshing. Service could do better but that’s secondary, I recommend you take the counter seats and strike up a conversation with the local chefs. ;)
Our favourite neighbourhood Japanese restaurant. Come here at least 2-3 times a month. Fresh and delicious food, value for money set lunch menu and most of all, friendly staff. Recommended to make reservations for weekends lunch / dinner. Definitely a gem in the Katong area.
Superb Japanese food and friendly service. The sashimi were all fresh and thickly cut, which guarantees the complete "mouth feel" when devouring them. The sets (dinner/lunch) is actually quite value for money as they came with generous 1 pax serving of sashimi, tempura, miso soup and rice. Had the grilled cod fish set, the fish was amazingly fresh and grilled to perfection. The sauce brought the umami to the grilled fish as well. We ordered a fish & prawn cake, which was nicely fried and paired well with the grated ginger and spring onions.

TAKAGI RAMEN REVIEWS
24hr neighborhood ramen restaurant. Broth was thinner than expected but was still acceptable. A good dinner/ supper place if you crave for ramen. Tried their salted egg gyoza too, taste good and portion was just nice. Bought their buy 1 free 1 drink at sgd 4.90.
Food, service & atmosphere was really great overall! Came on a cold rainy evening for early dinner and their new curry katsu udon was so apt and tasty! Adding on to their set meal was worth the price highly recommend and will be back again! (Have been eating here a couple times previously)
Restaurant manager Jong greeted me with a warm welcome and I felt absolutely at home walking into the establishment. Ontop of that, he also recommended me dishes to my liking and provided exceptional service. Because of his attention to detail and super attentive spirit, it was the first time in my life I actually felt soulful coming to a fast food joint. I applaud the rest of the team members here as well, I guess it's from the exemplary service aptitude of the manager Mr Jong. Thank you for making me feel welcome.
