Bak Kut Teh & Char Siew Wontan Noodles

Surprisingly good wonton noodle. Ordinary yet authentically local flavour seasoning. Soup is hot and noodles not over poached or soggy. Char Siew did not look enticing but is lean and fresh. , good taste, intended to buy wonton soup but already quite full. Overall a feel of homely taste with warmness aftertaste. Old couple went into action with everything done without fuss.

I've tried all 3 wanton stalls @ Holland drive market, I think this stall (managed by an old couple) is the better of the 3 stalls. Old man made sure the noodles are well cooked and well mixed with chilli, wanton are small but ok, char siew have nice taste. Price is cheapest.

Really enjoyed this hidden gem. Served by a lovely old couple. The noodles served never fail to meet my taste bud. Not oily unless other stalls.
