Gokul Raas Vegetarian Restaurant

First try of an Indian vegetarian restaurant where plant based mock meat is being used. The food we ordered all tasted so nice that everyone said it was a good recommendation. However, there is only 1 shared common toilet. Also do note that food once ordered cannot be cancelled even if it has not been served, so if your order did not come, do remember to ask for it. Other than these, I would recommend this restaurant for vegetarian.

Everything was delicious except for the cereal prawn. The dishes felt like the closest version you’ll get to the real thing without any meat. Laksa had the expected spice blend minus the fermented seafood products. The Hokkien mee smelled strongly of garlic and had that wet-but-not-soupy consistency. If you’re a vegetarian tourist, you must come here to try the classic local fare.

Great food in Singapore. My go to place when I visit Singapore. I had the Biryani on one occasion and the mutton curry on the other. Amazing tasting mutton that isn't.
