GOKUL VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Nasi lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. The nasi lemak dish here is in a vegetarian version, onion and garlic free. Don't forget to add on the extra sambal for a good kick. By the way its an Indian vegetarian restaurant. The food here is expensive but good, the mutton biryani and laksa Goreng are extremely delicious as it really tastes good. Besides Indian food, there are also a various variety of Chinese, Malay and western cuisine are equally good for the taste bud.
Very tasty Indian vegetarian food at affordable prices. The 'chicken' kurma gravy was creamy and delicious, the 'mutton' fried rice tasted rather 'meaty', and the murtabak was crispy. Even my meat-loving friend loved the food. Will certainly return..
This place came highly recommended by my Indian vegetarian friend. True enough, every dish Is done perfectly well. The mock meat mutton tastes almost like real meat, and the curry with it is just right in terms of the mix of spices. All the bread was piping hot and thin. The bryanni rice’s fragrance just opens up the appetite. I was told that their “chicken” is a hot favourite and I saw many tables ordered it. Will come back again.

This is a place for those who love pure vegetarian food. Tried their ghee roast and a strong cup of Bru coffee. It was awesome. The roast was so crispy till the last bite. Must try. Their coconut chutney...yummy... I just love it . Experience to find out.
For South Indians, finding Ananda bhavan in a busy area like Mustafa centre is like an Oasis in the desert. All the veg varieties are available. Robo service is just awesome. Food is very tasty. We had a memorable experience. Though it looks crowded, one must relax with good food after busy shopping.
