Avant TCM

I went to seek treatment for my tinnitus because my western doctor asked me to do a small operation to draw out the water or wear a hearing device, both of which I refused to do. The TCM doctor was friendly and gave me valuable advice about my diagnosis, following up with me weekly and then biweekly. She doesn't push me to buy additional health supplements, and the next visit is always up to me. The initial 6 months of medicine and acupuncture saw some improvements, but the ringing gradually became soft over the next 4 months. The fees are reasonable, and you can opt for the medicine only if you are on a tight budget. I am no longer bothered by the tinnitus, and I am able to have normal conversation with my colleagues without asking them to repeat their questions.

Highly recommend Avant TCM. One of my family members has frozen shoulder and has been visiting physio for 6 months but there hasn’t been any improvement. After a few visits to Lin Yishi, the condition improved significantly (prev could not lift the left hand up to chest level). After 2 weeks of treatment, able to move the hand for daily activities.

Dr Lin’s strength is in acupuncture treatments. I have seen her for a variety of ailments and her treatment has been very effective. Sometimes having to undo the ‘harm’ other treatments have rendered. Most importantly I had a very serious long term condition (neck hump) which she managed to treat.
