Lao Hero Kitchen

A friend recommended this place for a celebration dinner - so here I am at Lao Hero Kitchen, Jalan Kayu. I like the rustic ambience of the restaurant, serving Chinese “tzichar” dishes. The food was delicious and for some of us, rice is still needed. Just take note of the prices as some dishes may be expensive. Otherwise, it’s a nice place away from the city, accessible by bus and of course car.

Wife and I tried the Mala and Herbal Soup with Beef set for lunch. Portions were very generous and both soups were very tasty and flavourful. Staff who served to us was also very helpful and attentive. Altogether a very satisfying experience and will definitely be back soon and recommend to all our friends.

Min Hot Pot is a must try dish among the rest of their wonderful dishes. I love this place as it reasonably priced and it gives the cosy feeling.
