Reviews

The best mee rebus for decades, a favourite not just for my parents & their siblings but their late parents & siblings too when Rahim started out in Kovan area. Clearly this me rebus has stood the test of time! Soto ayam is a big deal for us too. It’s different from the usual brown-coloured soto ayam soup we get everywhere. Rahim’s yellowish soup has a light taste that’s not too lemak or jelak. Indonesian style which we don’t get often from local stalls holders here. All of Rahim’s servings come with a consistent big servings of chicken throughout the decades. Bless his good heart for not skimping on that despite the higher cost of living now.

I have been eating Rahim’s food for the last 15 yrs from their AMK central to AMK ave 10 stall, they start selling food at an unusual 12.30pm and satay is only available 3pm or so onwards. But at 70 cents for a humongous stick of well marinated chicken skewer and the awesome satay sauce, it is worth the later afternoon sojourn to this stall. Lest I forget to mention, their mee soto is the best I tasted and the mee rebus is one of the best.

One of the best Mee Soto and Mee Rebus you can get in SG. The Mee Soto soup tastes is really good. The chili is also spicy and tasty. Do give them a try. You won’t regret it!
