Tamako Meal

Was at Tagore Lane and decided to walk over for lunch. Even at lunch time, the whole stretch of F&B restaurants are not crowded. Seats are available immediately. We decided to go for the weekday lunch set which comes with free flow of miso soup and hot tea. I’m surprise they serve the whole flask of hot tea so we don’t need to get it refilled at the counter all the time. Food was serve quickly. Portion was fairly huge. Definitely value for money. The dory fish is fresh and crispy, but I personally feel the teriyaki sauce is a bit on the sweet side, it can be easily overcome by adding some chili powder. Service is ok. There is only 1 service stuff which is understandable consider the weak lunch crowd. Would recommend if you are nearby and looking for Japanese food.

Had a Christmas dinner with my friend. We got the buddy bento set and it was packed with the best offerings from Tamako Meal. Enjoyed the authentic Japanese flavors and it was heartwarming, the staff was also friendly and well versed on the menu. Hope to visit again soon.

Not only the quality of food is big, they really serve quality raw fish and bento portion. This Japanese restaurant continues to give surprises to their customers!
