Tamako Meal

Finally came here one day after walking past it many times. This unassuming place serves up homely and good quality Japanese food! Overall, the quality of food is very high. I had the beancurd soba and the broth was absolutely delicious and came piping hot. It’s a simple dish, but so tasty when done right. My friend got the tempura set and it was great as well. The prawns were fresh and tempura wasn’t and didn’t taste oily. The side dishes we tried were good as well. Will recommend this place for quality, homely Japanese food if you’re in the area!

Returned here after around a decade. It is just as wonderful as I remember it. There are really few places in Singapore that produce food this homely, consistent and value-for-money. What have I been doing for all this time?? Feel like I've rekindled a long-lost love. Will try to come back again soon.

Nice authentic Japanese food. Love the cold soba noodle, Strongly recommended, a must try dish. My wife love the fry photo, her favourite . Service was good and reasonable price.
