Yummy Punjaby

Found this Punjabi restaurant on level 2 at Alexandra Central. Ordered the lamb shank briyani, mixed vegetables raita and a salted lassi. The drink was spot on, well salted and creamy good. Lamb shank briyani is good. Rice is good, curry gravy tasty not too salty and lamb was falling off the bone. Moist and tender. Yummy. Mixed vegetables raita was, to me, is not true to the photo on the menu. There were small amount of cut vegetables. Yes it’s refreshing but more vegetables will definitely make this dish just as good as the others. Maybe I’ll return to see if the owner will do something about that.

I recently dined at Yummy Punjabi, and it was an outstanding experience! The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, making me feel like I was dining back home. The staff is friendly and attentive, and Ameer, in particular, made the experience even better. He served us with a warm smile and suggested some fantastic dishes that were spot-on. The service was also impressively fast, adding to the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for genuine Indian flavors and top-notch hospitality, Yummy Punjabi is the place to be. Highly recommended!
