Went specifically to try the former Simon Road Hokkien Mee.
Clean, bright and good air flow hawker centre. Self-service. Convenient nearby parking.
Came across this Sin Sin Prawn crackers #01-46 and tabao back for dinner. Its delicious. Comes with the traditional mee hoon. Will try eating there one day.
One of the hidden gems in the heartland of Singapore, located within the mature public housing estate of Toa Payoh Town. There are lots of stalls serving delicious local food here at very reasonable prices. Examples: char kway teow, handmade mee hoon kway, kway chap, desserts, etc.
One of the better hawker centres out there that's relatively tourist free. Classic options include nanyang coffee, curry rice, braised pork, kway chap and white beehoon.
