One of the many great street food centers in Chinatown Singapore. Couple Michelin recommended hawkers - I recommend to look up online and book ark the hawkers stalls before going there. Was definitely worth the effort for me!
Gets very busy on weekdays during lunch due to office workers.
One of those hawker centres in Singapore with a legitimately good spread of both quality and variety of hawkers yet without being overly touristy or overpriced. Apart from the famed ?? chicken rice, other more heritage options like the oyster cakes are also available. The craft beer store also makes for an interesting drinking option. Definitely worth a visit for both locals and tourists even if the queues are often long.
This duck rice and kway chap was so flavourful. (Sauce / soup)
Affordable and delicious.
