MAXWELL FOOD CENTRE REVIEWS
Classic hawker centre in the tanjong pagar area. Decent food with some famous stalls here, notably the chicken rice ones. But dont limit yourself to those, try the other stalls too, like the wu xiang one, tze char and chinese gyoza stall. All reasonably good. Lost quite alot of the crowd since the pandemic started but that means you get your food faster and with less people to deal with.
Peaceful place for dinner on weekdays. Try the Korean stall 01-49, auntie is friendly and this bibimbap is only $4.50. Super affordable rice dish with lots of vegetables and this really hits the spot. p.s can use CDC voucher too.
This is one of my top Hawker centres, vast amount of choice of local food, regardless of your diet, you will find something for you. Honest food with authentic flavours. It can take a bit to find a table, just be patience. Very affordable.

AMOY STREET FOOD CENTRE REVIEWS
Found on level 2, these are all great food not to be missed on a Sunday morning. A warm porridge with great service and smile from Aunty warms the heart. The Kuay Chap is very goof too! As we are the first customer, the uncle came over to ask for our order and personally deliver to us - so thoughtful! Kuay Chap is on point and above average. Worth the calories! Another must try is the Vadu shop - eat with a green chilli on hand with a freshly fried dough is just heavenly. Just for the prawns version. That's the best one! All in all, shiok ah! Just loved our hawker culture in Singapore.
Lots of choices, mostly at affordable prices despite being in CBD area.. During peak hours, getting seats can be a challenge, & also, there'll be long Qs for the popular stalls... Best to visit during non-peak hours, more enjoyable experience. Lily's wok at level 1 serves great local breakfast dishes, at affordable price!
Very crowded food centre especially around lunch time. Variety of food for your own choice. I got a half chicken dish with SGD17 while a soy sauce sick rice SGD4.5.

CHINATOWN HAWKER CENTER REVIEWS
First time trying the wanton noodle. Surprisingly, the char siew was juicy and nicely roasted and the wanton taste good too. The noodle is thin and QQ. Chilli goes well with the noodle too. No photo of the dish as I finished it soon after I tasted it...lol For $3.50, it is reasonable, given the portion and the quality. The roasted pork and duck are very good too. The stall is opposite Hawker Chan from the side. You may want to compare and taste which is better.
Old Master Roasted Grill. A must try for any meat lovers. Had the the roasted pork and the roasted. Due to crowned and long queue had ordered take away. Even after in packed form the roasted meat is still at a high standard. #02-119.
A good place to go for your dining experience. Wide range of food to choose from in this maze-like Food Centre. Savoury, Sweet and anything in-between...you can find them here. Nostalgic place, too.
