This is the famous brown BKT store in Yuhua (the other one serves a white recipe). The soup was nicely peppery and deep tasting and the peanut broth was nice. The meat was nicely chewy (not the soft type) and had Q. It was a very busy shop but the service was good.
For a shared meal, I would highly recommend their steam fish (grouper). Ate their steam fish every time we visited this market. Fish were very fresh and reasonably priced. Usually sold out by 1.30pm, so advisable to call them to reserve.
I didn't have the bkt but I tried the pig kidney and liver. Tender and soft, and in thick big pieces. Confirm will go back for this again.
