And also the you tiao absorb the soup, crisp and flavourful, amazing! Besides that the lean meat in hot pot is highly recommended, the meat is tender and fragrant with shao xin wine smell! It was consumed very fast once it’s served, didn’t even get chance the picture. The condiments provided in individual sealed packet and wet wipes are FOC. Songfa has offered membership and provide cash back when you dining with them
I love the food and service here. the seasonal dishes were quite yummy too, I particularly like the fried chicken & the claypot pork. And love it that the tea comes in a tradition tea set and taste really good too. I don't really eat pork ribs but I love the peppery soup and the pork tenderloin here too.
I ordered normal pork ribs bak kut teh, white rice and hot yuzu drink for 1 pax. The ribs were tender and juicy. The soup is white pepper soup the likes of those pig stomach soup flavor. The yuzu drink was amazing and I would rate it refreshing! All in all highly recommended. Will definitely come again soon.

OLD WORLD BAK KUT TEH FRIED PORRIDGE REVIEWS
This is the best Bak Kut Teh in town! Love their fried porridge and dry Bak Kut Teh with really fantastic taste Appropriate control of the heat and time, showcase the distinctive sizzling and aromatic of the dishes! The meat was faultless tender and melting in mouth. Worth every bit of our spent!
The first time I try fried porridge. Was wondering what it is. It taste marvellous! I never like porridge, but this fried version actually have the wok hey taste and with the mixed pork condiments, it really taste delicious! As for the Bak Kut Teh, I prefer it to be softer and more peppery.
This is my fourth visit to Old World Bak Kut Teh with my family and we all love it! The peppery pork ribs soup is a flagship dish, and it is on par with the standards of other similar restaurants. The unique signature fried porridge is also a must-try dish. Every other dish has this 'wok hei' flavour which is a big thumbs up from us. So value-for-money pricing. Highly recommended!

HONG JI HERBS BAK KUT TEH REVIEWS
Family business vibes, the owners are busy but warm. The food is excellent; their herbal BKT is the Malaysian style that many compare to SG's peppery one. Also had their prawn noodles (dry version) of which the sauce they use was unique and tasty, worth a try. Prawn soup was a little on the sweet side though. Original stall is in Marsiling which I patronized but have a bit of trouble getting to (you either drive/bike or transfer via bus along the woodlands/marsiling MRT) This stall is literally right outside TEL Springleaf MRT station!
The pork rib soup was served in clay pot. And the clay pot was really hot. And it kept the soup warm. For those who liked their soup hot, this would be the place to go to. The price could be considered very value for money. Tried their prawn noodles in the past, was nice too. Service was fast.
Love the robust flavours... Really enjoyed their hearty and comforting dishes from bakuteh to prawn noodles
