I would like to commend Chef MY for dishing up a well-rounded, with the right amount of spice and numbing sensation vegetarian mala dish. The lingering umami from the mushrooms paired nicely with the freshness of the vegetables. The service received was great too.
Ordered the Signature Lion Mane Mushroom Rendang with Tumeric Basmati Rice ($10.90). This was really good! I was pleasantly surprised by how flavourful the mushroom rendang was. I also loved the appalam, vegetables and soup - the taste was just right. Plus, the rice wasn't plain - when they meant tumeric basmati rice, they really put in the tumeric. Would definitely come back for this dish.
First time eating vegetarian laksa and surprisingly good! Ingredients are very fresh. Gravy is good. Place is clean and bright. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
