Syonan Chureito Memorial

My favourite place for running up the steep long slope. Follow by another long flight of steps to the top. From up there can see Marina Bay Sands and some of Singapore CBD skyscrapers on a clear blue day. There is no shelter along the way up along Lor Sesui. The way up from Bukit batok nature park is closed till 2027. Remember to bring water bottle along as there is no water point or toilet facility up there.

The war memorial area rest on a long flight of steps leading to the hill top. Along the fence at the top, it is quite eerie with sign of enter at own risk. Lorong Sesuai beside is out of bound . Enter the bukit batok park on the left side. Nice park with plenty of fresh air but take care if entering at at night for the adventurous. Heard that there are stories about it.

Although it's not as big or diverse as Bukit Timah park, it's still a good alternative if you're looking to enjoy a less crowded nature walk. Apart from that, it's also a good place to run uphill to build strength for your marathon! Oh and the parking is free.
