Underrated museum and a hidden gem! Informative museum that showcases the history of Singapore during ww2. truly a masterpiece for painstakingly piecing together all the accounts, testimonies, news articles and artefacts! Place is free for Sporeans. Just show yr singpass. toilet is clean and nice too. the rooms inside can be cold so please bring your jacket! there are no guided tours on weekdays except for weekends. What a splendid way to celebrate national day! Thankful for SG's independence. The place helped me to appreciate many things that i have always taken for granted.
Visited on a Saturday, and there was no crowd. Ample parking area. Citizens get free entry with identification. The exhibits were of pre World War two Singapore, and how Singapore fell into the Japanese hands, followed by the Japanese Occupation and a little of post World War two. Overall a well organised museum in a very historic building.
It is free for Singaporeans. We arrived just in time for the guided tour. It was such a great experience with a guide knowing so much more about my own country- our guide David Yeo was very knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
