A very underrated museum dedicated to WW2 in Singapore! It seems like not many people been here as there wasn’t a crowd at all. Staff were very friendly and there is a guided tour. Didn’t opt for that as preferred free and easy. The museum isn’t big but the information is well curated. Hope more people in Singapore can come and visit this museum! Free for Singaporeans ofc.
My photos do not do this place justice. This is because I was too absorbed into the exhibits and information. This is an excellent place to learn about how Singapore fell during World War 2. It also teaches us about the dangers of complacency and stereotyping, among many other lessons. An excellent place for educating both adults and older kids about a very important piece of history.
Really informative, with helpful staff. Glad to see that Singapore's museums are moving towards a broader view of wartime history and are moving past nationalistic narratives to give the audience a wider appreciation for the past.
