The park's unique features are a World War II memorial plaque, which helps learn about the history and pay tribute to the soldiers who died during World War II, and the quarry beyond the playground offers tranquil, scenic views of the quarry cliff and waters. Straw-headed Bulbul, Malayan Colugo, Grey-headed Fish-eagle, and nectar bats are endangered species commonly found in the park. Bukit Batok Nature Park area has a sand pit, mini climbing wall, Jacob's Ladder, and a metal climbing dome for children to enjoy. The park also has a moderate trail that meanders through a well-established secondary forest to a war memorial, with scenic views of the quarry. The park is also accessible via the entrance at Lorong Sesuai and from the Hillview Park Connector.
