Fish Mart Sakuraya

A really great diner (also a little supermarket) serving real fresh sashimi flown from Japan, and at very reasonable prices. Better still, this place serves a very wide variety of Sake, and at very reasonable prices too! It's very busy during lunch and dinner time, so do expect to queue for a short while. But not to worry, tables do turn over quickly.

I am a regular at Sakuraya! Today,I was impressed with the sashimi! All thanks to Chef Jackie! As usual, the sashimi is fresh and service is prompt! What’s impressive today is the cut and presentation of the sashimi! The fishes and Tako is perfectly sliced, presented prettily shaped like a flower! Thank you, Jackie and all staff of Sakuraya, esp Candie.

Sashimi was very fresh like it’s a literal fish mart and it tasted good. Their rolls and aburi salmon is pretty delicious. There is also a wide variety of foods. However service was a bit slow and u have it make yourself noticed at the counter.
