SUSHI TEI REVIEWS
Went there on a Friday evening recently and was pleased to note that it wasn't crowded. Our group of 4 was able to secure a seat very quickly and easily at 630pm. Food is good. Sashimi is fresh. Portions are ideal for sharing and our hot green tea was constantly replenished. Service was great and ambience is nice too. Great venue for catching up over food and drinks. Just that the air con in the entire restaurant and also the shopping mall was pretty cold (likely because there wasn't much of a crowd in the mall so that could be the reason). Thank you Sushi Tei! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options. Salad is one of those you can choose.
This was a great atas restaurant to go at West Coast Plaza. Needless to say, we were repeat customers. The best time to go was off peak. There was always a long queue at peak hours. Food was great and value for money , at restaurant price. Our favourite was clam soup, Asari Miso Soup and Taiyaki Ice Cream. We also enjoyed the Chirashi Don, Salmon Don and Chicken Karaage. Big fresh juicy raw salmon. It was hard to find such thick slices now.
First time here, service is prompt. We order from an iPad so it’s very efficient and doesn’t take long. Ordered the wagyu beef on hot platter and their well known rice rolls, as well as crab chawanmushi. Wagyu is not super spectacular but chawanmushi is pretty good.

HAKATA JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
This is a great family Japanese restaurant. The menu has a wide offering from sashimi to cooked food. Also, not forgetting the sake and beer! This is my go-to when I want to have a cosy ambience to satisfy my Japanese foood craving. These are the must-order dishes. The crackers with lobster filling are savoury. One piece is usually not enough. The soft shell crabs are the crispiest I have ever had and are not oil soaked like others. Also, the deep fried shishamo is deep fried with seaweed batter that adds another dimension to the flavour. Last but not least, the sashimi is fresh and portion is sufficient for two to share.
Affordable simple Japanese dining in the West. Portions are generous. The deep fried oysters were great. No fishy smell. Yakiniku Don was ok but I would rather not have the ginger and spring onions in my Yakiniku Don. Otherwise, it tastes more like the stir fried Chinese beef with spring onions and ginger.
We didn't intend to eat here. It surprised us. If you closed your eyes you would seriously think the food you were eating was from Japan. The taste of the food was "clean". Very unlike local Japanese fare. A must eat!! We will be back.

ICHIBAN SUSHI REVIEWS
The staff is friendly and patient. Serving with a twinkle in their eyes. Special shout out to the store managers at clementi outlet. We always feel like a royalty every time we ate there so.we are don't mind the long queue. Furthermore, the queue moves pretty fast.
Went alone for a light dinner of beef sukiyaki hotpot on a quiet Monday night. One of the more senior wait staff, Peter, was very attentive & took the initiative to offer me a glass of ice water when he realised I didn't order a drink. A tasty dinner & pleasant experience =)
