A Plus Physio

I visited Alph following a worrying consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon due to a spinal injury. The surgeon advised that I may need up to 1 year to fully recover, and months before I could return to the gym, and referred me for physio. From the first session Alph put my mind at ease. He was able to provide some immediate treatment with dry needling, and guided me through exercises that would help me in my recovery. Following his guidance, I was able to walk and exercise without pain after only a couple of weeks, and was left confident that I could continue resuming my normal training regime. 9 months following the injury, I'm still able to exercise pain-free and am very happy I chose to go to A Plus. I was recommended to Alphonse by my orthopaedic after a severe elbow fracture and surgery. He has been very professional and encouraging from the onset, setting realistic expectations while supporting me closely on my progress. Alphonse is meticulous in his massages and shares a range of mobility exercises to improve my range of motion, often pushing me to achieve even more with each session. From an initial 10 degree range, I can now almost fully straighten my arm and almost touch my shoulder within 6 months, which is faster than my doctor had expected. Would highly recommend Alphonse for his years of experience, professionalism, and genuine care for his patients.

I did prehab and now post-surgery rehab with Alph after a complete ACL tear following a skiing accident. Alph is personable and knowledgeable, able to recommend me the most efficient/ maximum impact exercises to focus on at home. He doesn't push for additional/ more frequent sessions unnecessarily, and tailors pace and progression to individual capacity; with my quicker-than-most recovery (which is surely to his credit as well) this has meant fewer but more advanced sessions spread further apart, which is very much appreciated as a busy individual. 10/10 would recommend!.
