Hyang Yeon Korean Restaurant Outram

Many Korean eatries along the stretch at Telok Ayer and Tanong Pagar. We went here because the staff were really welcoming. Big smile and friendly. Ambence was relax and no rush factor even though it was a Friday night. The bbq aroma lingers in the restaurant, which can be uncomfortable for some. Ordered the Bossam & Jokbal Set, Gamjatang, Japchae. Japchae was a disappointment. Small portion and too dry Gamjatang, pork bone not much meat, we ordered midden spicy, doesn't taste spicy at all. Soup was OK. Bossam & Jokbal, flavorful, and the spice level was good. However, personally, the trotter was nothing to shout about.

One of the best Korean restaurant in my opinion to be serving authentic Korean dishes. Amazed by how their staff was very attentive to customer’s needs and they also helped to grill your meat to ensure that you and your company has the best time catching up while getting delicious cooked meat served. Side dishes were great as well, highly recommended!!

This place serves really authentic and delicious Korean food, came here for lunch and ordered the stew and bbq set. It was so worth it! I will come back to try the other dishes!
