ICHIBAN SUSHI REVIEWS
Value for money Japanese food. Even though we tabaoed but it still tasted good when we reached home (15min later). Always enjoyed their chicken katsu don. The sushi items are good too! We frequent the Parkway branch often but first time here. Similar standards!
Outlet environment was abit old can be renovated, but food and service were excellent especially the new come AM , wearing spec and short. He is represented what hospitality service to be have and heart-warm service to old man.
Ichiban is always dependable, and the same could be said of the Toa Payoh outlet! Food got served up really quickly, and Salmon belly sashimi and edamame were fresh. Service staff were attentive and prompt - we finished our food in ten minutes and were out in 20!

KUSHI JAPANESE DINING REVIEWS
Restaurant located in a new mall beside Tai Seng MRT. Went there due to good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. They had an extensive menu. The pork belly and squid with mentaiko were grilled perfectly. Salad was good too. Service was excellent. Will definitely return. Reservation is recommended as it was full house the day I went.
First time at the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday . Food was great with many varieties to choose from. Ambience was great and the music was soothing too! Birthday song was played along with a free piece of cake which made the birthday girl very happy. The senior staff Ms Summer was very friendly, courteous , professional & chatted with us merrily, which made our dining experience even better!! Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend the restaurant to people who are looking to celebrate special occasions! Kid-friendliness: Baby friendly chair and cutlery and plates provided!
First time here and we love the service from the team. We had a lunch buffet and the sashimi is fresh, the food also great. Will come back for more in future.

MENTAI-YA JAPANESE CUISINE REVIEWS
Quality of rice is good and the chicken katsu, although not the crispy version, is cut thickly and lightly seasoned (not overly salty which is good). Service is prompt and polite. Overall quite good value ($7.80 for chicken katsu don) but the coffeeshop is a little warm so I'd recommend takeaway if you are sensitive to the heat during the day.
I always turn to this stall for my comfort food during lunch - my favourite is the Chicken Mentai Don with cheese. Expensive for coffee shop food, but very tasty. Staff is often doing a one man show, but takes orders and delivers well. He deserves a raise.
Thought it was slightly pricey for foodcourt food but it's I dare say restaurant quality without the GST. I got the spicy salmon mentai and it was super flavourful! Fish was a pretty decent size with a generous amount of charred mentai sauce. No regrets trying, would be back soon for more.
