Care Corner Counselling Centre

My therapist has been extremely insightful in identifying the roots of our problem one of it being our negative communication cycle. She also provided a safe space to talk about our emotions openly, and facilitated discussions of uncomfortable but necessary topics. From her we've learnt that not all problems can be solved immediately, and being able to sit with discomfort is a big step in itself. We've been incorporating her suggestions into our daily lives and are really thankful that we're under her guidance!

I chose Play Therapy to help my son work through his anger issues. Using play as a therapeutic tool has been very effective. My son is able to freely express himself in a language (i.e., play) comfortable to him in a safe and guided environment. I am pleased to see the positive changes in his behaviour since starting Play Therapy.

I am grateful to Jonathan for holding the space for me to reflect and heal. I got to learn about who I am and my gifts. I am going to be courageous as I step back into the workforce. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey.
