Reviews

Jurong Lake Gardens is a hidden gem in the heart of Singapore, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The lush greenery and serene lake views instantly transport you away from the city's hustle and bustle. It's beautifully maintained, with clean paths and well-manicured landscapes that are a joy to explore. One of the highlights is the Forest Ramble, a nature-inspired playground that kids absolutely love. It’s creative, interactive, and encourages them to be active and adventurous. Adults will enjoy the scenic boardwalks, peaceful corners for quiet reflection, and photo-worthy spots like the Lone Tree. The park is also great for fitness enthusiasts, with plenty of jogging and cycling trails. There's even a water play area for kids to cool off on hot days. Early mornings or evenings are the best times to visit, as the weather is pleasant, and you might catch a gorgeous sunrise or sunset. For birdwatchers, the garden offers opportunities to spot a variety of species in their natural habitat. Don’t forget to bring water and some snacks as dining options within the park are limited. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination.

The newly upgraded gardens are worth visiting. Even if you stay on the eastern part of Singapore, heading to the west to seek 'enlightenment' in these gardens is worth the trip. My recent visit for the mid-autumn festival display was a good reason since my last visit during the Jurong Lake Run. The pagodas are still there but surrounded by new structures. Now there's also a stone boat similar to one in China though small scale. There's also Canopy restaurant there. But it can be quite warm since the sun sets in the west but at least day light last a bit longer in the west for the wonderful view of the gardens.

Beautiful place & a must to visit. Photo lovers, u got the best spots & serenity around u. That lily pond is such an eye catching point & their terrarium garden is really mesmerising & best for ur insta pics..
