“Chinese Garden is a 13.5-hectare garden designed in the style of northern Chinese imperial architecture from the Song dynasty. JTC owns the gardens and parks in the Jurong Lake District. This beautifully landscaped park is adorned with traditional Chinese structures, including pagodas, bridges, and serene ponds that reflect the artistry of ancient Chinese architecture. The park has familiar landmarks such as the Grand Arch, Cloud Pagoda, Twin Pagoda, Bonsai Garden, and Stoneboat. The four pavilions at the Chinese Garden are based on northern Chinese pavilions and are decorated harmoniously with the garden. Visitors can also use the lawn for recreational activities, picnics and gatherings. The park also hosts various cultural events and activities throughout the year, offering deeper insights into Chinese traditions and festivals. Entry is free for everyone. The park is conveniently located next to the Chinese Garden MRT Station and is connected to the nearby Japanese Garden.”
