Lovely miniature display of how life was in the 1820s! Life was hard in those days though...note the coolies around the back taking a break from hauling people around on his rickshaw. Amazing to see this beautiful temple right downtown, and interesting how you can walk through the beautiful timber and stone structure...to get to the AMOY hotel and a Japanese restaurant!
Fuk tak chi museum was formerly a temple. We were wowed by the figuring showcasing the lives of early years around this area. this is a heritage gem.
You can walk through this museum to reach a wealth of eateries, restaurants and bars. The building was a temple from the 1820 and have some interesting models on how singapore looked like in the past from the river side.
