Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is one of the major parks in central Singapore. It is a great place to get a beautiful day out with families. The park is located along the banks of a former canal with lawns, walking tracks & a playground. The 62-hectare park also houses a wide range of exciting fauna and flora, making it ideal for nature lovers. The old concrete canal was de-concreted and naturalized into a lovely meandering river of 3 km with lush wildflowers banks. The park features a community garden, dog run and fitness areas. It also offers lush greenery, Pond Gardens, and River Plains. Wheelchair-accessible is available.

The club's main aim is to support bird breeding, especially endangered species. It organises bird singing competitions and events for the enjoyment of both locals and tourists. Kebun Baru Bird singing Club raises funds for competitions and other related activities. Visitors can enjoy the sunshine and songbirds. The spot is also used for morning workouts, and you can also visit the nearby parks. The field has a total of 426 poles. The capacity of the club is more than 1000 cages.

Thomson Nature Park is a nature park located in Ang Mo Kio. It is the 7th nature park in Singapore. It covers about 50 hectares in size to conserve the biodiversity in the area. The park was developed on the former site of Hainan village. Thomson Nature Park features five trails spanning 3.8km. The trails pass through the extensive forest areas. Visitors can also explore the remains of the Hainan village and see several species of Ficus, Angsana and common pulai. The park is also the key conservation site for the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur. Thomson Nature Park also has a freshwater habitat, and visitors can observe the great diversity of ferns and aquatic animals present.
