“Kim Eang Tong is a temple devoted to the Jin Ying Sect, which was established by Chen Jin Mu, Yang Gui Rong and Hu Jin Fu (abbot). The temple is based on the teachings of Buddhism that was originally accepted to the Hakka community. The temple came into existence in 1961 with the collaboration of Kong Lim Kong and Leng San Giam. Kim Eang Tong ensures a serene and relaxed atmosphere that provides a tranquil space for visitors and devotees to pray and meditate. The temple comprises various deities for their devotees. The temple provides a warm welcome for individuals worldwide to offer their prayers and seek inner peace. The temple is located at the 7th milestone along Thomson Road, also known as Jio Sua, signifying "Stone Hill".”
