Kim Eang Tong is a temple devoted to the Jin Ying Sect, which was established by Chen Jin Mu, Yang Gui Rong, and Hu Jin Fu (abbot). The temple is based on the teachings of Buddhism, which was originally embraced by the Hakka community. The temple came into existence in 1961 with the collaboration of Kong Lim Kong and Leng San Giam. Kim Eang Tong provides a tranquil and welcoming space for visitors and devotees to pray and meditate. The temple houses various gods and Buddhas for its devotees. The temple welcomes individuals from around the world to offer prayers and seek inner peace. The temple is located at the 7th milestone along Thomson Road, also known as Jio Sua, meaning "Stone Hill".

"Chek Sian Tng Temple was built in the early 20th century at Kramat Road and relocated to 10 Ang Mo Kio in 1984. Despite similarities with other temples, it is unique in the language spoken and the gender of its disciples. The temple features a majestic and elegant design, filled with positive energy, and thoughtfully organized for visitors. It provides a peaceful haven where visitors can relax, meditate, and pray. The temple’s main deity is Guanyin, and it also houses other deities, including Wei Tuo Pu Sa, Lu Zu, Wen Chu Pu Sa, Di Mu Niang, Pu Xian Pu Sa, and more. There is a wheelchair-accessible parking space for visitors’ convenience.

2026 Update: Chek Sian Tng Temple has a total of 16 deities: one main deity, Zhun Ti Pu Sa, who is considered the mother of the seven million Buddhas, and 15 secondary deities."
