Good rustic ambience, feel like you're in a home in Malaysia. Food is good and you can tell that most people here are regulars because they did not order the popular dishes. Tried the assam fish, coffee pork ribs, pumpkin tofu, ultraman chicken, and beans. I'd highly recommend the beans and ultraman chicken, which is actually fried saltedegg chicken. The coffee pork ribs was a tad bitter, and fish used was red snapper.

Can't believe I only discovered this hidden gem of a place after so many years in Singapore! Absolutely love the old school taste and the wok hei in the dishes - something you can't find in new generation zi char places. Of all the dishes, my favourite is surprisingly the fried mee sua. The plate is chock full of ingredients and the flavour and wok hei is perfect. Really enjoyed the pumpkin tofu and salted egg chicken too. Need to go back to try other dishes.

Went there for farewell lunch. It’s a very old school environment with free parking in its own compound. The dishes were promptly served. Love the salted egg chicken (ultra man), French beans & San lou hor fun. Will definitely go back again.
