Geylang Methodist School Primary was founded by the Methodist Church in Geylang in 1924. Geylang Methodist School Primary's Sustainability Education programme encourages students to take proactive steps in protecting the environment through the practice of the 4Rs, such as to refuse unnecessary usage to reduce waste, reduce the materials and the waste created, reuse materials whenever possible, and recycle materials to conserve resources. Geylang Methodist School Primary is one of the Three Best Rated® Primary Schools in Geylang, Singapore.

I absolutely loved the teachers here, especially the Chinese teachers—they're incredibly kind and supportive. The students aren't overly competitive, and instead, they actively support one another to excel. This culture of looking out for each other was something I appreciated deeply. The campus is very big and beautifully maintained, with excellent facilities that make learning enjoyable. For those with or without a Christian background, the pastoral care room is a great resource. The teachers there are wonderful and always welcoming, offering food and drinks—especially warm Milo, which I loved! Everyone can benefit from the caring and inclusive environment.
Even though I have came to this school I can assure you that the secondary school is absolutely not a go to secondary school but overall I feel that gmsp is much better than gmss hence I come to the conclusion gmsp Is a good school.
One of the better school in this area, very good teachers. They trained children to be all rounder.
