“Sri Sivan Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of Singapore. In addition to worship, the temple offers services such as carpentry services for weddings and ear piercings. The Hindu Endowments Board aimed to make the new temple unique in its appearance, features, and facilities. The major festivals celebrated at Sri Sivan Temple include Vinayagar Chaturthi, Thirukarthigai, Arudra Darshanam, Vaikasi Visakam Brahmothsavam, Thiruvembavai Vizha, and Maha Shivaratri. The temple also provides daily prasad and organises mass events, including Tharpanam and Tharpanam with prasad. The new temple was constructed at a cost of $6 million and covers an area of 3,000 square feet.”
