Fernandos Pizza @ Trio

Pizza here opened up a wormhole and transported me back to Naples from my backpacking days in Italy. Absolutely awesome and authentic. We were lucky to catch Chef Fernando here in his element on new years eve, and my did he not disappoint. Never expected the pesto here to be as lovely and original as it evidently was. The slices of beef on the pizza were also exceedingly well done. The usual issues with how some establishments do beef were non existent. Nor were they over or underdone. Absolutely stupendous in execution, lit up NYE fireworks up early in my mouth - which we'd planned on seeing only later that night. Amusingly saw an expat eat 5-6 baskets of garlic bread in between beers and smoke breaks. That must be some good garlic bread! Would like to try sometime. Sauces were nice as well. Would like to try their calamari sometime with the eponymous hot honey.

Really fresh pizza!! We ordered half and half frutti di mare seafood and pesto chicken. Seafood was fresh, prawn is not frozen kind. Chicken was tender and pesto was fresh too. Owner is very friendly too! We had a small chat with him and talked about his travels and recommended places for us to visit in his home country. Small corner shop with very cosy vibes. Maybe it’s the christmas decor and music but it felt like we in New York, just missing the snow outside haha Will definitely come back again to try other menu items.

I had an incredible experience at this hidden gem of a pizza place! The pizzas were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients that clearly show the chef’s passion for quality. The highlight of the visit was meeting the celebrity chef himself! He was super friendly and engaging, sharing insights about his craft and making the entire experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing pizza and a little star-studded excitement. Can’t wait to go back.
